To enable thumbnail previews, uncheck the “Always show icons, never thumbnails” checkbox. Since we want to enable or disable thumbnail previews, go to the “View” tab. In the Folder Options window, you will find all the options to control and customize the File Explorer. Select the “Options” option from the extended menu. You can also right-click on the Start menu and select the “File Explorer” option.Īfter opening the File Explorer window, click the “Menu” (three horizontal dots) icon on the top bar. Alternatively, click on the File Explorer icon on the taskbar or search for the same in the Start menu. To do that, open the File Explorer window using the “Start key + E” shortcut.
